Musicworks

Description: Musicworks (subtitled ""Explorations In Sound"") is a Canadian music magazine from Toronto launched Andrew Timar (editor) and John Oswald (design and production). Musicworks published its first issue in January 1978. Initially published four times a year, it now comes out three times each year. Each issue features interviews with artists and composers in the fields of experimental, elctro-acoustic and ""new"" music. Starting with issue 23 in spring 1983, Musicworks also offered a supplementary cassette with material related to each issue. Starting with issue 52 in spring 1992, the format changed to CD.
