"Orange Mist Sunrise" and "Orange Mist Sunset" were released in March of 1996 on two cassettes. This was my tenth release. I had originally planned on releasing one sixty minute tape but as I was working on compositions the sounds were flowing wonderfully and I was soon past sixty minutes by February of 1996. At one point I was working on three compositions at the same time which was very unusual for me. Previously I had worked on one piece until it was completed. It seemed like everything was in perfect alignment. These two tapes I feel was my best overall release of my analog days and includes some of my best compositions ever.

It is a loose "concept" album, kind of a psychedelic day from sunrise to sunset.

Pete Comely guests again adding lunatic guitar on the opening composition.

There wasn't any unreleased tracks from this time period.

 

My equipment at this time: ARP 2600, ARP Odyssey, ARP Sequencer, Roland TR-707 Drum machine, modified Casio keyboard, Digitech 7.6 Delay, several effects "stomp" boxes, some home made synthesizer modules.

 

All tracks recorded to my trusty four track Vesta-Fire MR-10B cassette deck.

"Full Sweep": completed in March, 1996.

"Your Attention Please": completed in February, 1996.

"Shadow Realm": completed in February, 1996.

"Dancing Bear": completed in March, 1996. Dedicated to Pete H. and the DBAR (Dancing Bear Audio Research) tape label, gone but never forgotten.

"212 Degrees": completed in January, 1996.

"Silver Flow": completed in October, 1995.

"Delirious": completed in March, 1996.

"Orange Mist Sunset": completed in February, 1996.
