Description: Famous and infamous record shop located in Hamburg and founded in the end of the 70ies by Klaus Maeck, who became later manager of Einstürzende Neubauten. They functioned as a sublabel for Zickzack, but mainly published and distributed for them as well as for such other legendary labels like Düsseldorf based Das Büro and Klaus Maecks Hamburg-based small own label Supermax for instance. 1983 Rip Off ceased to exist.
