Early Stuff Volume 2 was released in June of 1993 and features more compositions from the 1980's and one from 1990. Even though this was my fifth official release, some of my earliest work is on this tape also (see "Early Stuff Volume 1). After my first three release, "Industrial Strength #1", Industrial Strength #2" and "Every Electric Part Of You" I decided to dig into my tape vaults and unleash my early recordings via Early Stuff Volume's 1 and 2. I used my ARP 2600, and Echoplex and a couple of effects stomp boxes for these recordings.

The two cassette deck recordings used two cassette decks, an original Sony Walkman and a Radio Shack cassette deck. I would record onto the Radio Shack deck, then use the Walkman to playback the tape while I played my synthesizer, recording all of that onto a new tape with the Radio Shack deck. I've forgotten how many layers I used for these compositions, but I don't think it was any more than five or six.
The reel-to-reel compositions were recorded onto a Sony stereo reel-to-reel deck that featured Sound-On-Sound technology.
The four track cassette deck recordings were done on a Vesta Fire MR-10B.

"Neon Lizard Splice" was finished in March of 1988 and was recorded onto a Sony stereo reel-to-reel.
"Short Dimensional Warp Trip" was completed in February of 1984 and was recorded using two cassette decks.
"Gravitational Stabilizer" was completed in March of 1989 and was recorded on to my four track cassette deck.
"Fringe Element" was completed in September of 1984 and was recorded using two cassette decks.
"Insidez" was finished in February of 1988 and was recorded onto a Sony stereo reel-to-reel.
"Free Resonance" was completed in February of 1990 and was recorded on to my four track cassette deck.
